Dhendup Norbu Wangdi is a youth leader and communications student with a passion for youth empowerment, intercultural exchange, and community service. His cross-border experiences, including study and volunteer work in Bhutan, Thailand, and Australia, have equipped him with a broad worldview and an inclusive mindset, characterised by cultural sensitivity, global awareness, and proficiency in product marketing through digital communication tools.

Dhendup has demonstrated a sustained commitment to community development and youth empowerment through his participation and engagement in numerous national and international initiatives, such as the 7th Scout Leadership Training with the Royal Bhutan Army in Wangduephodrang, Bhutan; the Solar Jamboree Youth Exchange in Thailand; the National Youth Volunteer Exchange Program organized by Bhutan’s Department of Youth and Sports, Bhutan; the YEP-Go Chiang Mai International Youth Program; an Internship with YMCA International Centre in Chiang Mai, focusing on intercultural learning and community outreach and volunteering at the Australian National Museum of Education in Canberra.

He is a recipient of the Prestigious King’s Scholarship (Bhutan) to pursue his Bachelor of Arts in English for International Communication from Chiang Mai Rajabhat University, Thailand; Certificate for Academic Excellence, and served as a student leader in high school and a Treasurer of the Harmony Youth Volunteers under the then Ministry of Education in Bhutan. Dhendup is a graduate of the Master of Communications from the University of Canberra, Australia. At EduPlus, Dhendup serves as a Communication and Marketing Manager for the EduPlus responsible for the promotion of EduPlus’ media presence, visibility and impact.
